Founded by Ronald S. Oser in 1976, the practice continues its tradition of excellence with Marcie Oser Wertlieb, MD who joined in 2005. Dr. Wertlieb is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

In 2022, we welcomed Dr. Gwendoline Songwe, O.D., FAAO. After a careful search process, Dr. Wertlieb selected Dr. Songwe to partner with in providing outstanding care to our patients. With more than 13 years of experience in medical private practice, Dr. Songwe shares the same patient-first values that have guided Laurel Eye Physicians for decades. She provides comprehensive ophthalmic care and is also highly skilled in contact lens services, including specialty and scleral lens fittings.

Our practice is supported by an exceptional team of patient care coordinators and technicians who are dedicated to making your visit smooth, thorough, and comfortable.

We welcome adolescents and children over the age of 10.
